timetable/schedule - The competition
acts as a qualifying tournament for the 2008 OFC cup and is the first phase
of Oceania 2010 World Cup qualifying.
The 10 competing nations in the first qualifying
phase at the South Pacific Games are split into two pools of five teams.
Pool A: Cook Islands, Fiji, New Caledonia,
Tahiti, Tuvalu*
Pool B: Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu,
American Samoa
* Tuvalu are not members of FIFA and will be
ineligible to compete further should they qualify.
The games will be played
across 2 pitches in Faleata, Samoa. Times given are subject to change.
