The 2011 Nations Cup is the first of a new biennial football tournament featuring the home nations (unfortunately without England at the moment) and the Republic of Ireland.

There are suggestions that England will take part in the 2013 tournament or the British Home Championship will be revived as part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the FA.
