The African road to the World Cup 2014 Brazil
52 teams will compete in Africa for 2014 World Cup qualification with 5 places up for grabs.
Africa World Cup qualifying consists of a preliminary round where the 24 lowest ranked nations in Africa play each other home and away in a knock out competition. The 12 winners in the 2 legged preliminary round join the other 28 nations in the second round where the 40 participants will be split into ten groups of four.
